Diaconu is B grade at best, he should move down a weight division if he wants any chance of a shot at winning a title, he's a stiff little midget, too small for light-heavy.

So was Mike Tyson too small for heavyweight? From what I've seen of Dawson he's a good boxer but that's it maybe hand speed and good movement. Diaconu will crush Dawson similar in how he beatdown Hoye it will just take a few rounds more. Also you make it sound as if their is real depth to 175 which is simply not true. 175 is probably the easiest weight class right now for an intelligent, powerful, and ferocious fighter like Diaconu to take control of. It's really not difficult to envision you just have to get the nut out of your eyes. Cheers

Sorry mate I tried to edit. Believe it or not mate I'm a Calzaghe fan and he is by far the greatest ever at 168 175 is a whole new world though in many respects. In fact the only fighters on my pole I would have Calzaghe beating would be Popkins or Tarver maybe Johnson but he's caught something of a 2nd wind this past year and is one of the toughest when he's on point. Cheers

Out of all of them Calzaghe-Dawson would be the best matchup

Indeed, Calzaghe cannot beat Dawson, but NOT because of the size difference, but rather, because Dawson is way too talented for the limited Calzaghe.

I'm being serious. Hopkins and Dawson are simply superior than Calzaghe, and I'd still give RJJ and Tarver a great chance at beating him. Despite all the Calzaghe worship that goes on at ESB, he ain't that good.

Ever since he beat the one-dimensional Jeff Lacy, his reputation went through the roof as if he had beaten a prime Archie Moore and Ezzard Charles in the same week.

It's nothing short of ridiculous, and if Calzaghe actually grows a sack and agrees to fight Hopkins or Dawson, the delusional Calzaghe faithful will be in for one hell of a rude awakening.

Dawson would give Diaconu a boxing lesson. Diaconu is good but way over hyped here.

Calzaghe beats them all at this stage of their careers.

Prime Jones would beat him but it would be a very close fight. The Jones of today has no chance.

Calzaghe beats Hopkins anytime, anywhere.

Dawson is still far too green, but out of them all i still think he gives Calzaghe a tougher fight than the rest of them.

The rest of them are not even worth mentioning as Calzaghe outclasses them all.
