Jon Olav Einemo vs. Shane Carwin (UFC 131) - Page 2

Carwin just stated it was actually Einemo who requested to fight Carwin. He's about Carwins age so I guess he doesn't want to waste time going up the ranks. A win over Carwin puts him right up there but that's no easy task. He's also a big guy so maybe he likes his chances if he can get Carwin down, but getting Carwin down won't be that easy.

I don't rate Carwins wrestling at all. So far in the UFC its been non existent. I think Olav will have little trouble getting him to the mat. Gonna go out on a limb and predict a kneebar in the first round

Hope JOE pulls this off Carwin can be taken down I remember Gonzaga taking Carwin down at UFC 96 (credit to Carwin though he got straight back up) JOE is a higher lever than Napao in grappling.

Gonzaga rocked him with a punch then shot for his legs...it was hardly a 'takedown', and this guys grappling isn't wrestling.

by the way, if Einemo wins I fully expect Rogan to fellate him right there in the Octagon.

With his grappling and his 7 fights, he should have the chance to improve but to bring him back against Carwin after 5 years out is harsh! Though if Carwin gets ballsy with his grappling he could find himself in serious trouble. Carwin has the better wrestling but he needs to watch the subs.
