look at Tims record. Before the fedor loss he wasnt beaten by anyone other than top heavyweights. In 26 fights he lost to Fedor in top form, Nogueira he came very close to beating and probably gave nog the worst beating of his career before that. He was beaten by couture who had a great gameplan with headmovement and mostly outwrestled tim to win a decision. Mir caught him early with a submission and arlovski caught him early with a punch rematches against arlovski proved tim the better fighter and would have proved the same had he fought Mir again.


But look who he has beaten Andrei Arlovski twice, Ricco Rodriquez before he was fat, tim is the one who stopped Brendan Vera's hypetrain before vera became mentally weak, then theirs Jeff monson, Wesley Correira(a brutal beating in which is an example that a great chin has its drawbacks, Mike Whitehead, Ben Rothwell ect ect.

Silvia was on top of the division longer but his laziness eventually caught up to him. Now he is fat and basically a can, but I am willing to wager that top form Tim Silvia kickes the shit out of Brock lesnar on his best day probably Frank mir 2 form(probably the best he will ever look now that his Achilles heal is been exposed).

Lesnar with his 5-2 record has not surpassed what Silvia has done in his MMA career, no matter how boring tim is, Silvia had less weaknesses.

tho the lesnar hype was to much but he could sell fights and that what made dana white like him cuz he was his cash cow and therefore this hype came.
