You guys really dont think he has much power? Personally in my head I'm comparing him to the average professional boxer. Not Tyson, Louis, Foreman, and Shavers.

I think he has a lot of power :/
Nobody will have his dads power maybe for a very long time, but he definitely has the same punching technique. And he is getting power from it. 20 fights from now, he could be something.

Imagine George Foreman didnt exist, and you saw this guy. You wouldnt think he was strong?

And hes also pushing that 300lb dude at will. Now thats gotta be worth somethin

Wonder if Marvis Frazier would spar with him?

Well covered.

Shame he's fighting a horribly obese guy.

He's huge and could look worse after just 11 fights against total bums, with good management he might find his way to a world class heavyweight fight like Ronald Hearns did. I think it's obvious here though that he doesn't have his father's crushing power. The opponent took a decent licking for someone who was just in it for the payday and couldn't really fight. He has gone the distance with a former welterweight as well, which puts a huge question mark over him.

Thanks for pointing this out, that certainly is not a good sign.

The former welter James Johnson who took him the distance, had been stopped 23 times before facing Monk, including being blasted out in within a round, when he was floored 3 times, in his previous bout a mere 2 months prior!

Problem with guys who are the sons of greats like Ronald Hearns and Foreman is that they do not work up the ranks the way their fathers did. The name will get them a title shot and then they will not be prepared. I am not sure the name helps them in the long run. Short run it gets them title fights I guess.
