Bob Foster is overrated at LHW.....
James Toney would beat David Tua at HW
Michael Spinks would be a very tough opponent for Sonny Liston....

Corbett and Fitz are about as close in style as Tunney and Dempsey, Ali and Frazier or Lewis and Tyson.

Roy Jones Jr in his prime would EASILY beat any fighter in history from Middleweight to Light-Heavyweight.

Hagler is the best Middleweight ever.

Greb is so damn overrated it scares me.

Duran was a weak resume.

George Foreman has a disgustingly weak resume.

Mike Tyson would beat every Heavyweight in history apart from 60s Ali.

Joe Louis fares very bad H2H.

Riddick Bowe in his prime would beat Joe Louis in his prime.

Julian Jackson was the best/hardest puncher in history by FAR.

Hagler beats Robinson at MIDDLEWEIGHT (Robinson was beaten by lesser fighters at MW, and therefore Hagler could definitely beat him)

Prime Bowe beats Prime Lennox.

Joe Gans beat Duran and Benny Leonard.

Moore is the greatest Light-Heavyweight ever.

The rules are simply, no judging. If somebody quotes your controversial statement with anything other than good natured fun, ignore it. This is supposed to be fun.

Here are a few of mine:
Chris Byrd had the style to give Lennox Lewis fits and may have upset him had they met after Byrds victory over Tua, when Lennox was really starting to slow.

Jack Dempsey was a champion and has a high place in boxing history, but wasn't as great a fighter as often stated, and I think film and results both show it.

Can rate Harry Greb quite high, but without film, I can never see if he was as good as Robinson, so he will always rate 2nd. Always.

Rocky Marciano loses to every other heavyweight he shares the top 10 list with. I have him at 6.

Had Felix Sturm got the title shot instead of Oscar De La Hoya, he'd have won a close decision.

Have at it!
Joe Frazier, warrior as he was, felt apprehensive about giving Muhammad Ali a rematch for the title over 1972. He only fought him again when it was the route to a rematch with Foreman, and yet again when Ali had won the title back from Foreman.

Leonard of New Orleans beats any Duran that ever campaign at 147lbs.

Myung Woo Yuh is almost unbeatable in a firefight, which is why I'd favour him over Chang.

Ricardo Lopez isn't nearly as great as advertised, he'd have struggled with Carbajal at 108lbs.

Aaron Pryor isn't an ATG. His best win is questionable to put it mildly.

At least three or four other Light Heavyweights would have knocked out a prime Roy Jones Jr.

Funniest quote of the year so far by some way - nearly fell off my chair laughing at the bit about mthe retarded kangaroo with the dildo up his ass - and then the g-string wearing fairies nearly made me have a cardiac arrest

PS my controversial one is....Rocky Marciano is the greatest heavyweight champion of all time - very rare that I see anyone going the distance with him either in his absolute peak

In the period between and including the LaPorte fight and the Pedroza fight, Barry Mc Guigan gives Azumah Nelson all he wants. Not saying he'd win but he'll give him a good argument.

Razor Ruddock had the talent, if not the discipline, to be a (fairly)dominant champ in the early 90s.

Aaron Pryor is a better fighter than given credit for.

James Toney from the Holyfield fight would beat post-prison Tyson and any version of Holyfield.

Vitali Klitschko, Lennox Lewis, and Tyson destroy prime Foreman early.

Gamboa may be the best featherweight h2h of the last 20 years.
