Does he hang with the best of the 175 pounders?

Or is he just an overated dinosaur?

Good ol Jack Dillon. He'd do better against the sluggers than the fleet-footed boxers. He was as strong as an ox, had an iron chin, a strong punch, limitless stamina and a heart as big as his chest.

That will get you far in boxing in ANY era.

Jack Dillon in his prime was called "the white Sam Langford". Powerful,and FEARED was he. I have read that Sam Langford never challenged him. That
fight would have been a barn-burner. At middleweight pick-em...
