Default When is Boytsov going to fight a live body?

His next is Ademar Correa with a stellar 8-3 record.

Don't get me wrong, I am not being insulting or sarcastic- this is s legitimate concern. I wish Boytsov well, but we have all seen guys who fight so many stiffs that they develope a false sense of their own capabilites and cannot adjust when someone actully fights back. A fighter needs to spend only so much time at each level to develope correctly.

This is his 19th fight, I think. Its time to take on someoneof at least Ross Puritty, Danny Bachelder, Rob Calloway level.

I agree - he doesn't need to progress as quickly as Povetkin but for someone so highly touted it is time to step it up

He has been out of action for quite a long period of time now.Guess that he will come up against stiffer opposition very soon.
You are right inasmuch as it is time to take on better opposition.
I for my part would love to watch a rematch between Boystov and the very capable young Czech heavy weight talent Ondrej Pala who has been Boytsov's toughest opponent so far.

Hopefully this fight is a getting back into active mode fight
to be followed shortly by a more 'serious' fight.

On one hand - at this age it may be good for him to build up
some numbers that look impressive. But then again Valuev had
a high unbeaten record but it didn't translate much into
respect for him, rather it more so caused people to question
his opposition.

The 'false sense of his own capabilites' should be addressed during
fights with solid older journeymen types nearing the end of their
careers, during 2008. Rather than have it come into play when he
steps up suddenly because an offer to fight someone of quality
presents itself and he's obliged to take it.

And perhaps a fight with Pala, as mentioned, which would be a serious fight
that Boystov had to take very seriously and train for and prepare for
seriously.

Can someone please outline some info on his potential ability to go 10 rounds.
That is 10 rounds against someone who he isn't dominating.

Good question! Boystov is scheduled to fight in November. He might fight again in December. I think Boystov got off track a bit. Young Boystov is only 21 years of age. There is no need to rush him now. What Boystov needs is to develop his skills and improve on some of his weak points and bad habits. I think Boystov best weight is about 212-216 pounds. Any more than that and he might lose some stamina and speed.

When will Boystov fight a live body? Perhaps when he is 23.

Exactly, I totally agree, it seems to be, that Boytsov couldnīt hurt the Czech, the cut stoppage was pretty luck for Boytsov, I would also love to see a rematch...
