Nate Marquardt Vs. Anthony Johnson

Can either of these two make weight?

Johnson seems to struggle like crazy each fight and barely makes 171lbs but Nate The Great at 170lbs...

He looks massive at 185lbs so i find it hard to believe he will make 170lbs in a healthy controlled manner.

I hope he does... and i hope he wins

After he gets a few wins wouldn't it be nice to see him Vs. Shields or GSP!!!

Nate is kidding himself. He is even big for a mw. He is going to either fail miserably to make the weight, or make it and get knocked out because he's a weight-weakened ghost of himself. Idiotic decision by him.

I hope it happens... they should both just fight at 185lbs and be done with it.

Nate said he walked around at pretty much the same weight as GSP. And GSP is always ripped.

I doubt that. He is a ripped up speciman at 185.....170 is going to.see him get embarrassed.

It will be interesting to see Nate join a division with top wrestlers like GSP, Fitch and Kos after the Okami & Sonnen fights. I wonder if being one of the biggest guys at WW will negate the weakness' he's shown on his back. Rumble will be a good test of this

Marquardt is seriously fighting at 170? I thought that was a joke. I can't weight for the weigh in for this one.

Well Johnson has proved he can make the weight but I dont get why he doesnt go to 185. Obviously he is a good fighter at 170 but I think his energy level would be higher at 185 and he could be even more a force I also say that for Thiago Alves. With Nate ill believe it when I see it considering this is already one of the bigger Middleweights out there. But if he can make the weight healthy and keep the same kind of energy level he has at Middleweight then we may have a guy who could compete with GSP for the title.

WTF so what he's coming down to welterweight now? He is huge even at middleweight. Good luck making weight @ 170.
