Default Boxing at the 02 - Cleverly, DeGale

Has anyone watched a fight from the level 1 seating area? That's the one between the floor seating and the top level. If so, can you really see the action?

I could only afford the level 4 - up in the Gods - for Haye-Maccarinelli and I had to go home to watch it on telly to find out what really happened. With no big screen at the 02 either, it was a waste of money, you're so far away.

I said I wouldn't go back unless I could afford ringside but now I'm tempted by the Cleverly bill. I don't want to fork out 2 x £100 for another disappointing view so would appreciate voices of experience.

It depends on how tall you are and if the crowd stand up or not.

O2 is good everywhere apart from the nosebleeds - tier 1 is your best bet.

Level 1 is where the elevation from the Floor Seats starts. Best value seats in the house, you are pretty close to the action and at a nice height to see whats going on.

I've only bought floor seat tickets once for a big fight, never again. Every ****er stands up when when the action starts and you are usually watching through 20 rows of heads. They are more expensive than Level 1 and worse seats IMHO.

It's not so much of a problem when you're not a dwarf...

Even at small shows I tend to avoid them. Always makes me laugh when I see the Ringside Ticket prices at York Hall which are normally around twice the price of a balcony seat and not half a good a view.

Feel free to waste money on Floor Seat tickets and then come back and tell me I was right. Doesn't matter how tall you are you are still spending the entire night in and out of your seat every few seconds because the rows in front decided to stand up.

Shite seats.

Don't worry. In the O2, The Echo and the MEN (and probably every other similarly set out arena) they are the best value you can get. When you get in your seat check out how far away and how high they are in the cheaper seats and look how often they have to stand up to see in the floor seats, you'll be quite happy with the seat you're in!!

I've got 2no. 150 pound tickets on the floor tier. Anyone know what the view is like from there?
