Default Glazkov VS Friday Ahunanya on 5-21, TBA on 6-18

Looks like Vyacheslav is going to go the fast route ala Helenius and Pulev. This one will be bitter sweet, as Ahunanya's trainer is a regular poster on these boards. Still, its another good measuring stick for Glazkov following the Bahtov win. Hope he finds a good opponent for June as well.

Wow, For Glazkov who never went more than 4 rounds, to fight Bakhtov and Ahunanya in less than 2 months, its a big step up.
He did good against Bakhtov by winning almost every round, but looked gassed out after 6.
This is a 10 rounder against an old but experienced and durable Ahunanya, who guys like Tua, Povetkin, Liakhovich and Ibragimov couldn't stop inside the distance.

Default dude, having *** is much better than watching it on TV

Friday has a very good chin, and can punch. While Glazkov has great skills, and should win, he is being moved too quickly. Glazkov's handlers must feel extremely confident in their man.

Absolutely. That's what i thought too. Glazkov should and will win, but to make that win look better, they should have made it 6 or 8 rounds, not 10.

I see on boxrec, this fight is the co-main event for Lebedev vs Roy Jones. That might be a good chance for Glazkov to get some exposure, of course if the fight is televised.

Great fight on paper for a real rising star in the heavyweight division, wish Wilder's team had a similar belief in him lols.

Friday still a tough and experienced guy but its good to move these guys quick but its always risky vs a seasoned guy like Friday who has power

Good fight. Good to see Friday back in action. Friday spends the rounds being illusive he doesn't really try in score heavily or dominate. But also hard to get out of there. It should be a good skilled fight and a bit like a chess match to watch. Good step up for Glazkov.

Wilder was floored and hurt vs. a Joruneyman recently. No way they match him with a guy like Ahuanya. In fact Wilder was starched in two rounds a 2nd or 3rd string Russian just before the Olympics. He can't take a big punch, which is the reason why he's protected.

Says on boxrec its been changed to Al Cole. Still not bad, but I would rather have had Friday.

A youtube poster said that taking big fights early is the nature of the Heavyweight division these days. I'd say thats a reasonable claim.

With Glazkov, Pulev, and Helenius yes but name another HW being fasttracked like them? Has nothing to do with the division and everything to do with their skill, ambition, and willingness to test themselves.
