Default Next If Pavlik Wins...

If Pavlik, My Opinion, When Pavlik Beats Taylor What Is His Next Option? Also For Taylor, Who Should He Get Next?

Pavlik should fight Abraham if he wins
Taylor should fight Miranda if he loses

IF Taylor takes the Pavlik fight and Pavlik wins, why not go after the winner of B-hop/Winky? Pavlik vs. either of those guys is a megafight at 160, especially if Kelly can ko Taylor.

Yeah he's moving up to 168. I think there he will face a fringe contender and then Kessler-Calzaghe winner.

I think they're both going to 168. Super middle is getting crowded with some good fighters.

If Pavlik wins I too would like to see him fight Abraham.

As for Taylor, if he loses, then maybe we'll see him be more willing to fight the tough opposition ( Miranda, Calzaghe ) that people have been wanting to see him fight in the first place, and maybe we'll actually see him try to win convincingly. Some times a fighter needs to lose in order for them to want to make a significant mark on the sport again.

I don't give Kelly much chance against Taylor, and even less chance against Calzaghe or Kessler. He fought well against Miranda, but Miranda has NEVER impressed me.

The things that lead me to favor Pavlik over Taylor are...

Taylor has looked more and more beatable every fight
His chin is still a question mark
Taylor's left hand held low may be inviting Pavlik's right hand
Taylor wasn't throwing punches against Spinks and that could be a bad move against Pavlik
If Taylor slugs with Pavlik, he gets KO'd
Pavlik seems hungrier at the moment

Pavlik is gonna lay the heavyhand on Taylor.

But you gotta admire Taylor for not being afraid of a fighter that will, more than likely, take him out.
