Default Ashley Theophane on the past, the present and the future

AHEAD of his debut as a monthly columnist for Undisputed Fight Magazine (Issue 1 on sale Jul 1), current British light-welterweight champion, Ashley Theophane 29-4-1 (7), took the time to answer a few questions in the light of his recent title success, his past and what the future has in store for the 30-year-old Londoner.

1. So what’s been the latest and greatest in the world of Theophane since your victory over Daws?

I’ve just been enjoying being the British champion to tell you the truth. A lot has been going on behind the scenes and hopefully a big announcement will be coming soon. I’ve enjoyed doing more of the public appearances stuff but I haven’t lost focus of why I am being invited ‘here, there and everywhere’. My training comes first and everything revolves around it.

On a wee side note our magazine launches Jul 1. Victor Ortiz is gonna be the first big interview for issue 1 as I'm interviewing him tomorrow (Friday the 13th)
