European 56kg
1 Vodopyanov Russia 2 Azalimov Rssia 3 Polyansky Russia 4 Makarov Ger 5 Nevin Ire 6 Campbell Eng 7 Yafai Eng 8 Dalakiev Bulgaria 9 Andreiano Romania 10 Parrinello Italy THE TOUGHEST CLASS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH THE 54 AND 57 KILOS MERGING. Any of the top eight could be argued for the top spot, Polyansky is the Russian representive and beatable. there are at least ten other very good fighters in this class like Najafov(Aze) Nagy(Hun) Koota(Fin)-beat McCullough 7-0- N'Tuen(Swe) Gutmans(Lat) Gojan(Mol) Michelus(Pol) Selby(Wales) and Ulas from Turkey for example. Nevin can certainly win now that he hasn't to fight weight at every weigh-in with Campbell a big danger. |

lightweight 60kg European
1 Lomachenko Ukraine 2 Selimov Russia 3 Bruhard Germany 4 Bril Germany 5 David Oliver Joyce 6 Chudenki Poland 7 Eric Donovan 8 Ward England 9 Vaganov Russia 10 Valentino Italy 10 Azzedine France Not the strongest weight, maybe Lomachenko is slipping, Vagaov is the Russian rep and Donovan, Joyce, Selimov, and either Bril or Bruhard wont be there. Valentino too has probably seen his best amature days so the likes of Iayev(Aze) Ward, McDonagh, Keles(Turkry) ismetov(Bul) could step up and win.Lomachenko is the sensible bet though. |

64 kg Europe
1 Javakhyan Armenia 2 Petraukas Lithuania 3 Stalker England 4 Kate Hungary 5 Skrowankov 6 Solyankou Russia 7 Chladek Czeck 8 Ignatev Russia 9 Shelestyuk Ukraine 10 Jafaroc Azerbaijan 10 Hickey I think Hickey would have had a real shot at this, such was his form. Very strange that nobody seems to know why the army didn't release him to the high-performance-taxpayers pay eneough money into these two organizations. Moylette is a great competitor and could surprise a few here. Stalker to win for me with Jafaroc a danger. Of courst JJJ's old friend Kate is still here(Hickey beat him 4-0 last year) and Russia has Ignatiev. |

Russia is sending their B team to the Europeans. The A-team will go to the worlds (unless someone from the B team does well enough to convince the coaches to put hin on the A team). Thats why the other top guns are not there.
