WBA and IBF champion but the winner will still need to fight Vitali for the WBC.

Why wouldn't be the winner be the HW World Champion?

Wlad has the IBF and WBO, Haye has the WBA . . . winner gets three belts . . . what's so hard to understand?

If you people doesn't or cannot recognize a fighter who has 3 belts in a division a world champion then somethings obviously wrong with your brains. **** off . . . and stop watching boxing.

Nice to see a very competitive poll, with lots of conflicting opinion!

Well the two highest ranked heavyweights in the world are wlad and vitali. How can anyone be called the champ without defeating them both?

If sturm beats geale and pirog would you class him as the middleweight champion?

Of course . . . he's got the WBA, IBF and WBO belts. If Martinez wants to contest that, then he should fight the guy and beat him.

See I wouldn't consider sturm the champ until he beat martinez.

I didn't consider tyson the champ until he beat spinks.

To be the man you have to beat the man.

The only reason sturm, geale and pirog are beltholders is because of politics. Hopkins unified them all, he didn't lose until taylor who didn't lose until pavlik who didn't lose until martinez.

already consider wlad the champ as he owns the IBF, WBO and beat the guy who owned the WBA before being stripped. ok, he might not be undisputed, but he's about as close to being the HW champion we've had since Lewis

That's you and that's were we differ.

Even if Martinez is a very dominant awesome fighter and Sturm is a lousy shit fighter but has the 3 belts . . . I'm still recognizing Sturm the champ . . . politics and all bullshits included.

All these Boxing bodies have their own politics, biases and bullshits.

Fights needs to happen for fighters to get official recognition not based on our personal perceptions and insinuations.

Forget the belts. This fight is between the #1 and #3 HW in the world. The winner will be the #1 HW.

Christ on a bicycle!

Mike Jinx Spinks was a shameful con-man fraud of a fake Ring Mag champ. SpinksLOST his 1st defense VS Old Holmes. It was a ****ing disgraceful robbery by corrupt bias judges who obv did not what the fight, were bribed by Butch Lewis or were blind bats. Ring Mag should have stripped his loser ass And gave their belt back to Holmes who clearly won the rematch in the eyes of anyone who knows how to score a boxing match. Next Spinks defended his gifted Ring And IBF titles VS an unknown undeserving bum called Steffan Tangstad lol. Then Spinks the fraud threw his IBF title in the trashcan to blatantly duck Tucker like a filthy coward, cos he knew he would never beat him. Instead,, he defended his gifted Ring Mag belt VS a super-duper rusty, Past-Prime Cooney, what a ****ing joke fake champ he was. Ring should of stripped him for being a ****ing coward fraud who was gifted a rematch win with Old Holmes And defended VS shitty no-hopers. Tyson was The Champ/The Man when he beat Tucker for WBA, WBC And IBF world championship titles to Unify for the Heavyweight Triple Crown. Only Tyson-haters And idiots disagree.

No, not with Vitali being so dominant over everyone he fights, and given that he's got what many see as THE title of the four, the one mainly attributed to the lineage.

Well tyson was the first since ali to unify the belts so if that's your criteria so be it.

I follow lineage, whilst tyson was clearly the best heavyweight, spinks never "officially" lost his title in the ring (until tyson smoked him)

Only Haye Huggers see this as a super fight. It is just another fight for Wlad.

Interesting logic. To be the man you have to beat the man... or in this case because they are brothers who won't fight and nobody is really sure who is the better fighter it again comes down to anybody wanting to reach the top of the division now has to take on the double headed Klitschko monster?

I call bullshit.... Wlad is currently the man... the champ... If Haye beats Wlad (Big IF) then Haye becomes the division number one and 'the man'
