Mayweather Baldomir sparring

Ive not read the 24/7 thread, but did anyone notice how goosed Mayweather was after his session with Baldomir... he looked fooked.

Yeh they spared 14 rounds and they were probs 5 minute rounds with 30 sec breaks!

5min rounds? Why would they be 5mins rounds? Where have you seen thats what they were?

I'dve said they'd be 3 mins rounds with 45 sec - 1m min breaks. Standard sparring.

if for some bizzare reason they were 5mins with 30 second breaks, and god knows why they would be, Id imagine he'dve had 2 sparring partners, because Baldmoir wouldnt be able to keep that pace up.

Yeh probs more likley, i have heard of alot of fitness fanatic fighters like Floyd doing 4 or 5 minute rounds with shorts breaks.

According to Larry Merchant Mayweather sometimes spars ten or fifteen minute rounds with different sparring partners. I think he said it during the Gatti fight.
Obviously Baldomir (who is past his prime) can't keep that pace up.

yes, his trademark is 15min rounds (allegedly) although fomr what was said on 24/7 Baldomir and PBF had done 14 standard rounds. I presume baldomirs purpose was to just plough forward and pressure pressure pressure.

Floyd always trains unconventionally.

His training isn't alleged. WAY TOO MANY fighters have confirmed it. Speedy Gonzalez, N'dou and Corley to name three. Jantuah trained with him and also said he was nuts.

I know, but im talking about the session thatw as fetured on 24/7 - it looked like conventional sparring, no?

Someone told me that he does Sparring where he doesnt punch back (gonna hear alot of jokes about he doesnt throw pucnhes anyway HAHAHAHAH) but apparently Ali did it to.! I cant rmember who told me just heard it!
