Let me clear the air now!! Your right there is a reason why Ortiz had so much energy, a reason he could take my heavy shots and keep ticking

o it wasn't Flintstone vitamins!! But it is what it is I should of beat him anyways but it wasn't me that night. Ortiz wasn't him either lol

You get the idea.

True or just bitter, or both?
Funny thing is Money is rumored to fight him next.

I really hope PAC takes Floyd to the cleaners on the PED allegations and sets a precedent to stop this foolishness for good.

mayeb the fact that ortiz took much harder shots from maidana would add something to this little argument.

I think you are gonna see this more. Some will do it cause they feel it's true, others to smear. To some extent it may be. However in this case, it just looks bad after the loss, to say well dude is on gear/peds.
Thing is even if they do test blood, say 6 weeks before even up to the night of the fight, according to Conte, timing wise it's not gonna make a difference, cause that's not when a fighter who knows what he is doing is gonna use gear/peds to build.

Not sure what the solution is. Maybe that new urine test that picks up EPO/HGH better in the past will help dispel all this banter, cause this is just getting ugly.

Year round testing will never happen.

This seems like the type of thing Berto would say. Ridiculous. He's just mad that he got sonned.

He needs to change his Bio on Twitter. There's a new WBC Welterweight Champ.

Ortiz' performance enchantment was N.K.H. (not killing himself) to make 140, and what difference did it make!

Berto on the other hand is a victim of changing substances. He used to be on B.U.M.s but they brough him a S.F.B. (someone fighting back) and it ****ed up his system as you can see in the post-fight results on boxrec.com:

won 27 (KO 21) + lost 1 <----------

I thought Vic looked like a different fighter that night. Not just physically, but more aggressive and fearless than I remember him ever being, which resonated because despite Andre's flaws, he was still a very live champion with the potential to starch a guy with one shot and Vic appeared oblivious to this threat.

It's not impossible that Ortiz found some sort of inspiration for that fight which allowed for his supreme confidence. However, considering his prior tribulation(s), it seemed outta place.

I like Victor Ortiz and gave him the benifit-of-doubt, with his decision to not continue against Marcos Maidana.

Im a fan of him, but Id be lying if I said I didnt think something was amuck in that Berto fight. I truly hope im wrong, but that's how I see it.

Get ready for PED accusations after anyone with a name loses.

Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

I hate this shit. Accusing someone of PED use is an easy way out of a fight, or a great excuse for a loss now it seems and every Tom, Dick and Harry is going to be at it now. Maybe you were beaten 'cause you're not half as good as you thought you were, Andre. Since when did PEDs improve your chin anyway? ****ing IDIOT.
Black boxers are so good now that if you beat them, you MUST be on PEDs.

Berto is ****ing pathetic, and this accusatory bullshit taking hold in Boxing is doing the sport no favours at all.

Since this whole PED controversy scandal, or whatever it is. There has only been negative feedback for boxers and fans of the sport and pretty much anyone involved. Why do you want to hurt something instead of making it better?

These guys need to man up and give credit where it's due.. If a man shows up in great condition and is just a better fighter than you, accept it..

I thought these comments could be adressed by saying that in fact, this is the path the sport needs to be on in order to clean it up therefore, Floyd has laid the groundwork to do just that.

With OST, non of these accusations would be relevant and that's the bottom line. Maybe Andre's being a poor sport, but maybe he's not and the fight game is the last place we wanna overlook preformance inhancement.

There is no centralized Boxing Commission to meet with. There's no litmus test to become involved in the sport at the highest of levels, be it as a cutman, trainer or fighter. Literally anyone can partake in any of these fields ( success rate varies ).

That is false. Even today, accusations are rampant even in sports where there are tough testing procedures (cycling, weight lifting, Olympics, etc.).

It does not mean we should not use OSDT. It just means that your statement about accusation beings not relevant is false.

Gotta love it. So now people within the boxing community are calling each other cheaters anytime someone is impressive...

Damn definitely a way to get media hype huh... And less people who actually want to watch it..
Andre Berto and these others are snitching?

Shane Mosley is a snitch? Andre Berto is a snitch? Shane he used steroids in the past. Berto he waited this long to say anything?

If these guys are cheats, Berto should ask him to take the test, not go and slander Ortiz's name by calling him a liar and a cheater on twitter.

Berto's trash. Any way you look at it. Give it a couple years and he'll be forgotten.

Lets not forget that Sr claimed that Ortiz was hanging around Manny “I would have to assume Victor Ortiz is playing fair even though he said he boxed with Pacquiao and said he learned something from Pacquiao” What a Moron!
