Default Strongest Welterweight

Who could it be? Marg must be up there, as is Kermit. Shane apparently benches 350lb. Cotto's a beast. Floyds strength is underrated. Baldi is a tank. Berto and Clottey seem strong to me.

Discuss.

Bench press strenth doesnt always equate to clinch strength, nor does build, remeber how holyfield manhandled tyson in the clinches.....
It may suprise you to know that muhammed ali and carlos monzon were two of the strongest ever in their divisions in the clinches, and they were both tall and wiry....

Being strong in clinches isn't all about raw power lifting type strength. A lot of it is getting leverage over your opponent , like in Judo or wrestling.Fighting inside using clinching is an art, just as much as counterpunching and feinting.
