It's funny that he had the capability to let his hands go like he did in those fights yet in fights with Lewis,Byrd and Rahman he could be so conservative in his punch output that it was frustrating to watch.

Whether it had something to do with conditioning or the other guy I just don't know but it held him back as a fighter.

Tua was never the same after Ibeabuchi fight.

His condition was rivaled only by Toney's legendary discipline.

Facing a guy like Lewis didn't help matters either.

David Tua- Predictable, lacked the punch variety of a top level swarmer, lacked the activity of a top level swarmer, and was strongly lacking in defensive ability. Cool haircut though.

Tony Ayala Jr.-Destined to implode in or out of the ring. More of a ticking time bomb than Tyson ever was. I'd say the same for Valero.

Naseem Hamed- Oversold ability due to cheap competition, style that would never translate into any real longevity... Boxing's equivalent of highlight reel AndOne tapes.
Judah - poor stamina? Check out his 140lb distance fights, ie Witter

Hamed - fought the best of his era

Ayala - I actually rate him

But he is very dangerous to any fighter who decides to slug with him.

Brutal puncher Tua destroying smaller come-forward Marciano is a possible scenario.
True indeed, Marciano would have to box and fight on the back foot against Tua and he could possibly win on the backfoot

True.

Actually young Judah even fought differently than the latter days counterpunching version of him.

"Sometimes he punched. Sometimes he didn't. I don't know. He was great".
