Tarver in Australia

Now that Tarver has landed in Australia I wonder how much the hype for the show will go

I hope tarver goes off and we see a heap of stuff on the news over the next few weeks

the more he talks the more confident i get of a victory by danny.

Not sure if he can be knocked out but i think Danny will be too good

Havent seen you around these parts Jim, i thought you were Ced for a long time there lol, tend to agree with you on this one, Tarvers going to get knocked out. Hopefully with a felled blow to the soft part of the skull causing a brain stem collison type affect! oh boy am i excited haha

Ive been trying to get on the Tarver bandwagon but after the last one i jumped on (BJ flores) who had no heart, i decided to check this one out a bit more. with BJ i was more so going off his undefeated record and the 200LB limit. Looking at that fight, i wasnt far off the mark, Danny wasnt Danny that night and BJ made him work for it big time like no one else has before, not bad for a bloke who had not fought in 18 months.

ok so onto Tarver..

He was at his peak when he knocked out RJJ, this was in 2005, some 6 yrs ago. He then fought Bernard Hopkins and was weight drained, he has put on around 200LB for the Rocky Movie and had to drop back down to 174LB to make LHW.

Bernard won every single round and he done is with ease. Tarver never worried him the entire fight.

Tarver was a shot fighter, even the commentators speak about his decline and this was some 5 odd yrs ago guys. You can bet that Green camp have watched this fight and will use a weakness in Tarvers defence, the same weakness Bernard used over and over the entire night. Tarver will play it safe and that uppercut he keeps using in sparring, well just watch the clip and see how Bernard deals with it, Dannys people would have told him to do the same. Tarver has been selected for a reason, he will give Danny a win and is a big name.

Tarver says he will fight like he did against Woods, im guessing he is going to try do a Mundine on Danny,

In Closing, Tarvers last fight.. the writing is on the wall, all Tarver can hope for is that Danny is just as shot as he is and he might stand a chance, otherwise he is going to have a nice sleep and end up the same as RJJ.

Is there gonna be any public events where both boxers will be at like where they were siginng the fight poster in the video posted by TC????

Wouldn't mind the opportuniy to go down get a signed poster n a photo with both guys myself!

I could only watch it to round 6 dreadful. But even though Tarver is shot I still think at CW he will prove a handfull for Green.

Might be a bad idea for KT to start up another site, his site closed very close if not around the same time Johnnys book was released, i suspected that it was due to backlash KT would cop on his website from the book, i would imagine that people who have been spewing on it would be itching to have a few words to say about it on KTs site should it appear again, might be a path KT doesnt want to go down, he would have to ban alot of people who would ask questions about issues and incidences stated in Johnnys book involving KT.

Showtime have quite a few fights on youtube, im not sure if the get any royalities from youtube or not, i would assume so otherwise every showtime fight or highlight footage would be removed. I think they see it as a way of advertising the network as they dont archive the fights anywhere or have them for sale. Greens camp would be clutching at straws with this one and showtime wouldnt even look at it sideways or give it a thought.

Sammy, whipper went to a session and got a pic with Tarver etc, best bet is to keep an eye on Tarvers facebook page for updates on upcomming events, i dont think there will be much more promo stuff going on now it will be all down to bussiness.
