There - I said it.
With a better preparation in the years and months and weeks and espcially on the day of the fight. Enzo could have beaten and exposed Haye before Wlad got to. So what went so wrong in Enzos preparation ? ![]() Below - I outline the main "mistakes". ![]() Mistake 1 A certain promoter had Enzo knocking over stiffs like Bobby Gunn - propping up Joe Calzaghe undercards - he wasent learning anything by doing this. His last fight before Haye - he bowled over some crap part time club fighter from Argentina - who rolled over and quit clutching his back - not the kind of fights that prepare you for a big unification for the world titles. ![]() Mistake 2 Enzo turned up to the annouce the fight in January in a posh suit - he overdressed - he should have been more cool and casual like Haye in Top Hat and T-Shirt. - It was a early sign of Enzo trying too hard. Mistake 3 He could not stand up to a retard like Enzo Calzaghe who wasent helping things with all the shit he was talking. Mistake 4 New born baby keeping him up at night - wasent getting enough sleep. Mistake 5 Only sparring he had was with Bradley Price and Gavin Rees - light tap sparring. And sometimes - at crucial stages of training for the fight - he couldnt even get any sparring - because Bradely and Gavin - didnt turn up to the gym - they were too busy down their house - playing Lewis Hamilton racing on the Playstation and stuffing down McDonlads takeaways. ![]() ![]() Mistake 6 Enzo's nutrition for the fight has to be questioned - he had developed a taste for Monster Munch crisps - so he was never going to be in the best of condition eating all them packets everyday. Mistake 7 Final press conference - where Haye didnt turn up because he was sleeping - it was Enzo who turned up in groovy hat and top - like Haye had previously - a sign he was following Haye as the alpha male. Mistake 8 Day of the fight - passing time in the hotel - Joe Calzaghe beat him in a game of dominoes - it put Enzo in the wrong frame of mind. Mistake 9 Left his hairbrush and gel in the hotel cabinet - before he left for the 02. Mistake 10 Jumped into Enzo Calzaghes Vauxhall People - and went for a D-Tour all over London. Just a hour to go before the fight - and passers by were wondering - what the hell is Enzo Calzaghe doing in Mickeys Fish and Chip Bar - ordering food - so near to the fight. - The Pie and Chips and Fizzy Drinks consumed - was not only shocking nutrition for a World Champion athelte - so near to the big fight it was Sucidal.![]() Mistake 11 Enzo Calzaghes mistake - he forget to change the lightbulb in the main beam of the Vauxhall people carrier - they were one light out. Mistake 12 Enzos sprint to the ring - brought back up his pie and chips and fizzy drink - and unsettled his stomach. Mistake 13 Dropped his hands and put his chin in the air..........................

Yeah Enzo made a lot of mistakes in that fight, and he definitely corrected most of them looking at the results in fights after the Haye one.
His hair in the Alofabi fight was clearly gelled and without the long fluffy bits at the back, but it seems he was spotted outside Mr Raj's Indian Takeaway tucking into a chikcen tikka kebab just 2 hours before he entered the ring with the Calafornia-based Nigerian. If Haye can get down to 175lbs, the now 100% professional and breastless Enzo will take him in the rematch. Lets see if David Haye ducks Enzo in a rematch at 175. Enzo was simply too green, at 28 he was a baby in the game, i say give him 8 - 12 years and he'll have 175 cleaned out

He could have beat Haye if he was a better fighter than him. If he had punched faster, harder and with more accuracy and consistency then he would have won. But he didn't. He let Haye punch him too many times in the face and that's why he lost.

Now way on this planet any body at cruiser can beat Haye! Dont get me wrong Haye has alot of flaws but his power is mind blowing! Personally i hope he goes down in weight and cleans up.

I agree that the fight was lost before the bell went - He clearly wasn't prepared.
But that's now in the past Flint. Many mistakes have been made and lessons have been learned. The revised Enzo-Enzo partnership and Enzo Mac reverting back to a more optimal weight at 175 could maybe send shockwaves throughout the light-heavy division. Enzo will win a nice couple of comeback fights and then knock out a very good but a bit overrated Cleverly. He is too easy to hit and won't take Enzo's power at 175 you watch.
