Was quite excited when first hearing of this fight but the appeal has worn off since I learnt it was for this crappy belt - bit of a beautiful Thai girl turns out to be a ladyboy scenario.
Anyway, shouldn't the boxing press have a little more to say on these belts? They seem to turn a blind eye to them yet they are hurting the sport and making it look utterly farcical. |

Yes, I guess I have issues with these belts. Can't really explain it but part of the appeal of the fight would be that the winner would fight Wlad next. Now it has this title I'll not hold my breath for that to happen as they'll probably milk the title for all its worth - effectively taking them out of the 'real' title picture.
