Arrow Amateur experience before going PRO?

Hi guys

I want to now how much experience amateurs have before they go PRO..... i now a few that have near enough 7 years plus even 10-15 years, but cus of my age, i was wonderin is 5 years adequate? I'm pretty distant with my combos and my fitness level is at a pretty well good standard now, the only thing i lack is sparrin, only done this 4 times, I have me combos and i do look at fights on the internet to view there sparrin and or fights and combos, to perfect mine as such. Personally i just need sparrin experience and coach guidance now to get me in the right foot steps and to brush up on my combos with coachin aspect of it, but i'am pretty confident with sparrin only having 4 experiences mind.
What you reckon guys? thanks for your time,

Its not about years as it is number of fights.

Get fights. Win fights. Go from there.

You don't need amateur experience to go pro, though it does help. Like the guy said above me, it's all about winning and people getting recognized with you and your win streak. Anyone can go pro, it's getting paid big money that's hard... once your pro, you need to win fights and hope that Mr. Promoter likes you.

it doesnt matter, if you are good and you are willing to grease your butt up and spread em for a guy like don king or bob aram then you are ready to go pro.

Going pro with only 4 sparring sessions as experience? You will get killed by almost anyone, end of.

this.
Most amateurs have sparred MUCH more than this and are still not ready to go pro.

Get down to a good club.
Get as many fights as you can.

Thanks for your help much appreciated.....

Know some of you may be against sparrin with mates outside the club, but experience is experience isn't it? In the means of getting hit etc and generally bein in a sparrin situation. Just sayin because some coaches when i join a club may not think i'm ready to do sparrin, but i have high self-confidence about myself and wouldn't mind doin sparrin perhaps on my 2rd or 1 visit to the club etc. Whats your views on this? I practically just need to be chucked in and go from there tbh in sparrin

If you've only sparred 4 times you have exactly zero experience. You won't stand a chance. I don't mean to be rude (for a change) but your confidence is probably not justified.

Are you training at a gym with a coach or are you "training" with your mates in the back yard?

To me this doesn't even count as sparring
Obviously if your friends are boxers then that's OK
But I doubt they are so.......I'd say join a gym. Listen to your trainer. If he says you're not ready.... 9 times/10........your not ready

Most people in the average amateur gym have sparred MUCH more than that and are not ready to even fight amateur.
