what do you need to do for a tournament

ok im getting in atournament on the 31st and am wondering what was the process like for your first tournament and all your tournaments like do you have to buy the trunks and shirt and do you get to keep them.... thanks

You dont need to buy trunks as long as your gear is with in the rules, your head gear must be USA approved.
The process is usally submitting your application to who ever is conducting the event, along with any fees, you must show up to the weigh in or you will be DQ'd from the tourney and you must make the weight....
bring a current valid pass book, these days you can not renew at the tourneys as you could years back...
