Good to hear. Hopefully we'll see the results in his next fight, he's got the talent to go a long way but he can't afford to cut corners. Struggling with Woodhouse might be what he needs to make him rededicate himself.

Strange thread.

Regardless of commitment be it Gavin or Arnie....this is stuff that you dont mention.

It shows that one is lacking, be it mentally or physically......ie. control, be it over themselves or the schedule.

Its plain to see theres someting not right.

With all the respect to Arnie who i feel has been thrown in at the deep end so to speak and i dont doubt his desire and dedication etc etc..........i wonder as to why be public in this ?

Surely not for the ESB L33T kru.....though its cool that its dropped for the ones who give a ****.

Such a fighter now trainer need never have to utter such.

All the best.

Rob i got as far as ya he is the best talent...that ya put down then decided to throw down.......hence the reply.

You was talking Stephen Smith before i thought....

You get different proteins from grains & pulses so beans(pulse) on toast(grain) isnt all bad. Humans digest vegetable proteins more easily than animal ones.

Nice mention btw...cause am seeing all this elite animals in fields most days and in turn.....they are what is deemed good meats/proteins..be it Turkey Or Bovine......and i asked maself today.....how about cutting out the middle man.......what feeds what we feed off ?

Anyways, i reckon Arnies hands are tied and i reckon he is like the big brother you didnt have rather than the father.

Young trainer......and when Gavins long gone.............regardless of his achievements (Gavin) etc i think he will come good (Arnie).......without the heat.

If we aint learning.........we aint living.

Fire him up to Nelsons for a month (Gavin) see how it goes.

Maybe he has been up, dunno.....never asked tbh.

Good luck to Frankie. His last fight was much tougher than it perhaps should have been - respect to Curtis Woodhouse though, he put up a good effort - but if he makes a real effort to improve his lifestyle then the experience might benefit him in the long run. I think there's a lot of pressure on him to become a world champion due to his amateur background, but I hope he can live up to it.

its good to hear that Frankie has taken on board the advantages that a dietician will bring to the table. i work somewhat in this field myself and imo diet will contribute to at least a 20% increase in performance.
dos frankie have a strength conditioner?
diet and strength conditioning is an area we brits tend disregard as performance increasers,at our peril/

One standard tin of baked beans has about 18grams of protein in it. That is the same as 3 eggs. It's hardly a low protein meal, in fact if he put a couple of poached eggs on that too it would be a very good lunch with as much protein as a chicken breast.

Still 2 meals a day with just beans on toast as one is clearly ****ed up, especially for a pro athlete.

What's all this “Well done Frankie great move Frankie etc etc blah blah”

I've heard time after time that this kid is the "best boxing talent in britain"

Yet he's been applauded for doing what any top pro should be.

I think people need to realise this guy is going nowhere - he has no power, no disipline, poor attitude.

Great amateur but I dont think he cut's it as a pro.

When is this guy going to be at least tested?

Have to admit it does surprise me that there are boxers out there who think they can do what they want and still become a world champion.

I wouldnt blame Frankie alone it's the whole team thats to blame.

FFS you only box till your 30-40 then you got the rest of your life to do what you want, if youve made it to the top your a millionaire and can retire very young.

Good that he's starting to do something though.
