I'll lose that much weight in a day when working outside in our upper 90 degree heat with matching humidity numbers but that is quickly replaced by a couple quarts of Gatorade or water. More info would likely get you a more definitive answer. |

I agree with gumbo here the weight loss is mostly fat maybe some muscle loss aswell. But i read somewhere that losing more then 2 pounds in a week means your burning muscle as well so im not too sure. Maybe measure body fat with your weight

2kg in a week, could be anything up to 1-2lbs of fat at ABSOLUTE BEST depending on a lot, and the rest water. Or if you've starved yourself, 1-2lbs of muscle maaaaaaaybe, a bit of a vague question.

That was going to be my next question. I have a friend that is morbidly obese. He is about 5' 10" tall and weighs about 325 lbs. When he decides to go on a diet, he'll drop 30 lbs. in a month, but most of that is fluid weight because he quits drinking his beer---------and he loves beer to the tune of almost a case (24 twelve oz. bottles) a day. So weight loss depends on more than just calories, exercise and types of foods you eat. |
