If Meehan trains he will have way to much for Cameron.

The best Meehan beats the best Cameron comfortably. But which versions are we going to get in November? Meehan will be close on 45 by then. Might be an interesting fight.

Meehan looked decent in the super 8. In both primes he was surely the better fighter.
Meehan is ancient now though but Cameron has been in plenty of wars as well.

It's a pretty even contest at this stage and could potentially be worth the watch.
I hate paying 40 bucks for fights like this though, is it worth it?

I like both guys, Cameron might not bet the best but he always turns up in good condition and he always did bring it 100%. Meehan doesn't always do that but he still is a good puncher and likes to bang.

Its being marketed as a bit of a legacy fight. I don't buy that too much because even if Cameron wins I still think Meehan was better. Hopefully they fight like its all on the line and they go out banging. It could be a bit of a sparring session as well though, both make a bit of pocket money.

How do you's see the fight panning out? Worth a punt? Will you pay to watch?

Ill be paying to watch, regardless if Cameron wins or loses...

A genuinely nice guy that has a lot of time for the people of his country and his fans. I haven't seen Shane duck a fight in his career. I have met him several times in person, a very very humble guy.

Im all for supporting any fighter that puts his life/career on the line for his fans. He is a tough bugger that loves the game.

Shane has been hard into his crossfit of late, so physically he should be in great shape. Training wise, he has been out of the game, so hopefully he gets enough time in prior to the fight.

Should be a good fight regardless of either fighters circumstances & outcome.

Certainly a wealth of HW talent in Australasia at the moment.
Maybe the winner can fight "The Big Bear"

I wouldn't walk across the street to watch this dross for free.

Now if only he had the nuggets to stand up to Grinning Greenys demands in the same fashion as he stood up to that Reporter aye, must be still upset over bending over for Green and taking it up the ass.

Yeah, its quite hard case over here. The media LOVES David Tua, but hate Shane Cameron. Which i have always found very strange.

David has been given many lifelines in the sport. He said he would do many things he didn't but was never really criticised for it. Not that i think he should have been.

On the other hand, Cameron made comments about knocking over Tua & half the country (reporters included) decided to hate on the dude! Ever since then he has been criticised and dubbed as a has been every interview he has. (not that i do think he is 100% these days...)

Haha yeah, i couldn't stand that fight. I changed channel. I didn't actually mind Green prior to that fight. He really showed his true colours around that camp etc though.

I wish Cameron took advantage of that situation, rather than bowing down to Green. Ah well.

If Cameron knew then what he knows now, i don't think he would have bowed down to Greens demands. Green was desperate to finish out on top and needed someone like Cameron in doing so and winning the IBO title, imho Greens intentions all along was to rope the public into one last final fight and he used Cameron like a puppet in doing so and gaining an unfair advantage. One thing i guess Cameron can have bragging rights to is that he put Green into retirement lol
