Default Valuev - retired or coming back?

Valuev appears to have left behind the biggest payday of his career and the Klitschkos should still be interested.

Will he come back to make that fight?
Is he recovered from his surgeries?

I guess he needs a tune up after the long layoff. Maybe he could fight someone like Tye Fields, Levin, Austin, Basile, Mo Harris, Audley or Rahman.

He might as well be retired. Chagaev and Holyfield exposed him, and Haye proved you can beat him by throwing 11.9 punches a round and running all over the ring. With his age, inactivity, injuries.....he'll be slower than ever. Any heavy worth anything should be able to beat him at this point.

He was suppossed to come back in May and didn't, and I saw a story on another sight where they talked to him about Povetkin and they said of Valuev: "he had no intentions of coming back any time soon."

I think Simply got it right. People with gigantism deteriorate rapidly, and I think that series of fights exposed him. I hope his surgery was successful, and he lives a good long pain free life.

Though it goes without saying that I would watch if he did fight Vitaly.

Retired, because Don King ruined his chances of fighting a Klit bro, by demanding too much money.

Wlad offers Valuev a fight in 2009 (after he pulls out to fight Chagaev) and Valuev said "no"!

No Don King there.

Chagaev steps in to fight Wlad for 66.000 people.

I'd love to see him fight a Klitschko Be interresting to see how they fought it, with the majority of there opponents being significantly smaller.

Naw, Nikki himself said that he wasn't interested in the fight for the 1-1.5 million offered. After paying his team, as well as travel and acccomidations, there just isn;t enough take home pay let to make it worth it to him.

In a way I'm glad because at this stage of his life, he would take a frightful beating.

Retired. He has been exposed and went through all the surgery. Forget it.

He's probably gonna retire or come back fighting low-class bums for the rest of his career, with nobody paying attention to his fights.

I hope he stays retired cos he has nothing to add to the game, admittedly, he's a bit better than you usually d expect a neanderthal fighter to be but all in all still is a travesty of a fighter especially considering we re talking of an ex "world" champ and multiple title challenger here.

Well, it seems Valuev is 100% focused on politics, trying to get elected and not training at all. That`s awfull boxing wise.

If he makes a comeback, don`t expect to see him at the level he was against Haye.
