How many fights do amateur boxers usually have in a year?

Depends on the level of competition and how far you go in tournaments. I'm friends with a fighter that made it to the medal rounds of the Olympic Trials this year and he usually has between 20-30 a year, depending how deep he goes in the tournaments.
