He's fighting Pac at the same weight, I guarantee you he hit Pac more times then he hit Mayweather unless Pac can KO him early. The reason why he'll connect on Pac more is for obvious reasons. Pac is not as skilled as Mayweather when it comes to defense. It's not like Marquez remain at 147lbs from then to now to fight Manny. He's moving up once again and chances are in slow, bloated form. .......but those gaps in the physical advantage Mayweather had against Marquez at 147 lbs narrow significantly, and as I've stated, I think strenghthwise, Marquez would be the physically stronger fighter at 130 lbs, which would make Mayweathers bump and roll defense not nearly as effective against a physicallly stronger Marquez than it was at 147 lbs.

Marquez being physically stronger than Mayweather at 130 lbs I believe lends to the notion that he would at various points in the fight break through Mayweather's shoulder roll and the physical defense he likes to employ......which in turn would force Mayweather to have to left his hands go to gain Marquez respect, which in turn opens up opportunities for Marquez to land on the counter.

I think it would play out razor close, but because of styles, I still have to give the quicker, faster, skill fighter the advantage to pull out a decision.

Btw, if anyone is getting knocked out at 130 lbs, it will be Mayweather from the creative combinations Marquez would land on him during inside fire exchange.

I love JMM's style, but still Mayweather beats JMM in all the weightclass ive given you, specially the imaginary 126 PBF.

I've long said it isn't a bullshit win, but it wasn't a great win either. It was a good win over a guy who was number 2 P4P at the time coming up in weight vs a guys who had been off for a while. Good win, not great win.

I dont. It was Marquez' first time coming over the 135lb limit where he was already NOT looking like his old self. Mayweather came above the stipulated weight, plus the size difference and styles.
lets not forget Marquez looked like he had his pockets filled with sandbags.
