Maybe McGirt feels Golota somehow jerked him around, wasted his damn time and now he's trying to get even with Golota?

If that's the case he picked the wrong opponent. Golota will beat McMuffin', no problem.

Your right, buddy BarryC...double freakin' standard in America, in & out of the ring. Even when that idiot Bowe managed to knock Golota down in the 4th round it was from repeated rabbit punches & his ****ing brother ref Eddie Cotton ignored that shit.

Thanks for making my day. It wasn't ****ed up enough already!

BTW, welcome to the forum.

He helped lead Golota into the ring in the convention center in Golota-Bowe II. After the fight Golota was transported to Atlantic City medical center by ambulance. He was awake and talking and not unconcious or anything. He did suffer a perforated eardrum, a suture near his lower lip, and a broken jaw. It was a bruising encounter to say the least. Bowe, as we know already, suffered permanent brain damage. At least Golota's injuries were able to heal. To make a long story short - my cousin asked Golota about the low blows. He said what everyone else said - that why did you do it when you had the fight won with just one round left? Golota explained that he was so tired he simply could not aim his punches properly. What's more Bowe was leaing on his back, pushing down on him. So it was not all Golota's fault. Holyfield is way more dirty in the ring than Golota could ever dream of being. He uses elbows and ask Hasim Rahman what that bald skull feels like crashing into your face. Ask Tyson, Manndolone, Savarse, etc. how it feels.

Bowe-Golota 2 might be one of the most brutal bouts in boxing history. Both guys took so much punishment. Golota suffered broken jaw, ruptured ear drum etc, and Bowe received the worst of it, suffering permanent brain damage.

I dont think those final low blows that got him DQed were intentional. As Golota said, I think he was just so tired and hurt from such a long vicious fight, and couldn't aim accurately. Larry Merchant pointed this out right after it happened. George Forman argued Golota did it on purpose and Merchant countered "no he didn't do it on purpose. He did ite cause he's hurt and he can't think". I agreew with Larry on this one.

Despite the DQs we all know who really 'won' both Bowe-Golota fights.

There never was and never will be another heavyweight fight like this one. Lewis-Klitschko was good but not as good as Bowe-Golota.
