well if it was a social occasion & he said, & i dont know her name so we'll call her Sue....if he said at a dinner, "Hello Sue, you look lovely tonight" that would be considered ok but if a female journo is, along with a whole host of male counterparts all bustling for a quote after the judiciary, & she in her capacity as a Journalist, not a female Journalist, just a Journalist asks a serious question she is entitled to a serious response, not one based on her appearance, Peters could have answered her or said sorry no comment but at least he is treating her equal to the male Journos, but to treat her with contempt in front of a whole host of male scribes & just come out with "geez you're a good sort" is childish, ***ist & plain wrong

Yeah it's a shame he got the boot, he's a good bloke, I've met him a few times and he calls a spade a spade - a rarity these days in that line of work.

I heard him being interviewed by Ray ****** on the radio the other day and he said there were other factors, it wasn't about calling the Fox presenter a good sort. CEO Perry asked him how long he intended to continue working at the Sea Eagles, Zorba said "5 more years" and Perry apparently just about fell off his seat, as he had intentions of moving him on much sooner than that.

Perry's trying to be the new broom at Manly - dunno why, they're going just fine) - but one of the major sponsors has already threatened to pull out ($200K per year).

As perfect jet said and you he was obviously sacked for other reasons they just needed ann excuse

but the TV executives complaining was what got me going

as you said he is a good bloke

i spoke with him yesterday and he was getting plenty of messages of support

Though being worried about what a bunch of blokes on an internet boxing forum thought of my looks


is probably a bigger problem then being ugly in the first place
