I probably can go a bit higher you got a link to the better ones? im in the uk or just the name actually and ill search em. There gunna mainly be used on the heavy bag at home and when i do use a gym there but i doubt itll be hard on them every day as im just startin out just want something decent for my first pair that will last a while.

Try the ones you first showed, they may be ok and my boy just got a dud pair.. The good ones are on Ringside.com or Everlastboxing.com Think they are called pro training gloves, get the velcro because it sounds like you wont have many people around to lace you up...
