i highly doubt khan and morales will fight.floyd needs an opponent for may of next year or september oif next year. it taqkes six months to properly promote a mayweather fight.
khan vs peterson is dec, khan vs morales could take place in may of next year but morales does nothing foir khan. if khan looks impressive against peterson then he will go straight into a floyd fight in may. morales has the wbc title and bradley is next in line for that shot. |

Makes sense form a Business standpoint I believe it, Morales just beat Cano, has title, it will be marketed as a unification bout....and Khan + Morales fans = decent size payday for both and Golden Boy, there is more money to be made with Morales/Khan vs. Khan/Peterson.....
Floyd dosen't like to fight so Khan should fight Morales, then take a quick tune up at 147 in the UK against a tomato can bum to get used to his new weight, then ink May-Khan.....May likes breaks anyways Meanwhile Pac fights Marquez, then Bradley...then who knows who else... May-Pac is not going to happen the sooner everybody accepts it the better ESB will be, |

yeah not surprised by any of this.
9 or 10 months out again and then fight khan. goldenboy fighter. easy to put together. khan's a big name. big payday for all concerned. it was never gonna be someone too dangerous like sergio martinez for eg. |

![]() Khan can actually win that. Why waste all this nice progress he's made by simply cashing out against someone so far superior? (unless the plan is to wait until 2013 or so and bank on Mayweather's talents and reflexes starting to erode...) |

It's far out enough that Khan could get 2-3 more fights in the mean time, and Amir is improving with each training camp he goes through.....
but still. If this is to happen immediately, its a mismatch. Khan needs to get significantly better over the next 12 months (best case scenario). Even then, it still likely wouldn't be enough. And I'm a Khan fan. |
