Default MMA staredowns are better than Boxing staredowns

Does anyone also think that?
They actually allow the fighters to get up close and really stare each other out, in Boxing theres always these fat bastards in the way putting their arms between the fighters never allowing them to have a proper stare down.

That pisses me off.
Also theres another pet peeve I have. After a boxing fight the ring is CROWDED! The fighters get pushed around and there are all these idiot people who shouldn't be in the ring and its so packed.

All these dumbasses grab the winning fighter and start pulling him around and telling him where to go. These guys in red suits, I don't know who the **** they are, they were there when Pride went to Vegas. Annoys me.

I liked it in Pride where there really weren't many people in the ring before or after the fight.

Anyway, those are two really minor pet peeves I have with boxing and prefer it in MMA.
(I posted it here because there are too many imbeciles in the other sections who woulod just flame it)

Pet peeve I have with boxing. Not having standardized rings. Figure rings should be a set size, all the time.

James Thompson is a very interesting character. He knew exactly what the Japense fans wanted in terms of character and style and really played to the camera`s alot.He looked like an absolute psycho in most of his bouts but in reality his a very softly spoken down to earth kid.

I believe his even done a degree in psycology and wanted to get into acting..

Shame about the result of that fight though. He psyched himself up so much and tried to bumrush Fedors brother.Within seconds he was on the end of a KO.

Shame? Its epitomy of satisfaction. Some poser acts all badass and gets ****ed up by the guy who doesn't give a ****, beerbellied, and was just digging for a booger. So good...

That's downplaying A. Emelianenko, both him and Fedor obviously take training, fighting and competing very seriously, considering their history in both MMA, Judo and Sambo.

His mannerism is something you find in many other russians, it's a russian thing, and the physique, well, Fedor isn't precisely chissled out of stone, but he is among the greatest p4p in MMA history.

Btw, I don't think Thompson is a poser, but that's just my opinion.

The funniest was Lewis-Tyson, a line of cops seperating the two corners, such a hype job, but funny as hell.

You tellin me this? lol. I know all that, plus I'm from Russia. That mannerism just clicks with me. This completely indifferent, unimpressed guy whoops an all tensed up guy is way up there in a very unconventional way.

Well, he's not a poser per se, but what i mean is in the context he revealed himself to be one. Besides anytime he stepped up the competition he lost.

I enjoy that mannerism too in a fighter, I'll root for a Emelianenko over a Baroni any day

I've never been a fan of the staredown. MMA or boxing. I've also never been a fan of ring card girls for some strange reason.

But yeah, I agree, I hate it when the mob rushes the ring after a boxing match.
