Lot of guys use this as an excuse for losing/not learning. Not saying that's you, but I hear it so often it makes me when I hear it.

Tyson's style worked fine for the amateurs, btw. The fact he even made it to the national level shows that.

Reasonable, but one could be more flexible with the hands as to specific

From my own experience, I once had two bouts in one night.
and used different stances, styles and execution of punches
for each opponent. You "gotta" do what you "gotta" due to
give you the edge and improving the odds of winning.
