I don't know, I'm just cheap, Lol.

Never mind. Ebay has the same price as SugarRays.

I don't like Lonsdale's personally. I had a fair few pairs (the cheap one's) and they were horrible. These are obviously more expensive, so they're probably better quality, though.

I gathered.

They look comfy to me, and of good quality. I'm OK with paying for up to 60 on a good pair of gloves as long as their worth the money..

The cheap ones are without doubt the shittest gloves i've ever used- they last about three weeks...

The contest gloves however are beautiful and well padded.

Flexe

These are the gloves I have, wasn't to sure about purchasing any Lonsdale gear as since sports direct as got involved the quality has gone down but.....

I love my gloves, they have kept there shape very well and moulded around my fist very quickly and still look new.

Bought mine from boxfituk, when to warehouse and they let me try before i buy.

Highly Recommended

I think I'll go ahead and get these then mate. They look decent quality gloves and for 60 I expect them to be.

The most important thing regardless of brand is to try the gloves on. Take your wraps with you and wrap one hand. Then try the gloves. The shape and size inside gloves varies enormously from brand to brand and buying them off Ebay may end in disappointment.

I've got the Lonsdale authentic sparring gloves and bag gloves and they are a good glove for the money. The sparring gloves feel really snug and balanced, but it depends on your hands. I have long bony fingers and they just rattle around inside some gloves. My gym mate swears by Rival, but the fit just isn't right for me. The cheap vinyl Lonsdales are nasty though. They last all of two minutes and slice people up when sparring.

I got some really cheap at Sports World but they didn't last long. Some of the stitching started coming apart after a couple of months. Not that you'd expect them to last long on the hands of a devastating puncher like me

They are good gloves, i have a pair of 16oz. They are small for 16oz which is good.

Another tip is to sniff the gloves and ensure they actually smell like leather. Some gloves make bold claims about what they made of but only leather really smells like leather.
