Beginning of the end surely with him getting his boxing hour back on Boxnation.
He wont be able spout the ****** line on boxnation then be impartial on the BBC show, cant see ****** being over the moon of he is plugging another promoters show on his BBC show that clashes with a show on boxnation Going to be a time when there is s conflict on interests and other people in boxing complain they dont get the attention they want on his BBC show no more, where as ****** shows do Potential to be very tricky situation for Bunce and the BBC |

In both cases he's employed as a journalist not as a presenter so I don't see what the problem is.
If, when the new Boxing Hour (please let it be an hour!) is shown, it turns out to be just promos for *****'s boys and upcoming fights on BoxNation without any balance then you've got a point. At the moment I think you are worrying about nothing. |

The shoe could well be on the other foot for Bunce now ***** is the key, is he going to give Bunce a free hand on boxnation to say as he pleases? Lets be honest here, I think we all no the answer to that already |

Well we'll see I suppose.
However, I seriously doubt Bunce would stitch himself up like that. By this logic Bunce is going to have to end the BBC show and his column in The Independent (which he says he's been trying to sort out for ten years). That would be a good few quid he'd be losing and given that he probably got burned when Setanta went tits, he'll have gone into this BoxNation deal with his eyes open. |

Quite the opposite as I see it.
I doubt very much that there are any editorial guidelines other than general ones re his BBC show. The BBC won't have anyone clued up enough to say 'Hang on, that's the third FW fight you've plugged, what about that Hatton show?' even if that's how it turned out. One might suggest the BBC hour could be used as a vehicle to help BoxNation get publicity, perish the thought. I'm sure Bunce will cover plenty of stuff anyway. |

Buncey will be on it to tell us how great Boxnation's upcoming schedule is and gloss over any premature stoppages/home town decisions Cleverly and co are bound to get.

Well right now you're just completely guessing. This isn't just Frank's channel. Sure he's a big part of it (mainly because he's the biggest promoter in this country) but I doubt he's gonna give much of a toss what goes on Bunce's hour really. No boxing show (whether it be Sky, radio or other TV) criticises boxing or fighters much if at all and Steve Bunce is no different.
I'm pretty sure the new Boxing Hour on BoxNation will be pretty impartial and will preview and talk about all kinds of boxing, even fights that are on other channels, just like the Setanta one used to

No BBC London this week because of Spurs. Back next week and every week when Spurs are not playing the best in Europe.
Let's see how the BunceHour etc unfolds. Adios and thanks. |
