No, god NO!!!
i love both boxing and mma (mma moreso), but he should stay in mma and evolve even though he looks more like a boxer than a mixed martial artist in the cage these days. |

guess he realized he cant get the title back in UFC and is gonna try boxing
so he would be a cruiser and id give him zero shot vs Cunningham or Huck |

Rampage's boxing isn't even as sharp as it was two or three years ago and he's far too slow of hand and foot to have ANY impact on boxing's CW division. He'd be so outclassed and hit so much that I would even give feather fisted Cunningham a shot at stopping him.

I think it's fantastic news, it's great also that Rampage seems to like the UK for some reason.
There's not really a lot of evidence how well MMA fighters do in boxing, Kimbo slice seems to be doing okay, and how much better is Rampage. PS where's the rest of the interview? |

I would say let him do it.
What is going to accomplish if he stays in UFC? nothing. Someone said Rampage would get crushed by top cruisers. I don't think so. For instance Huck is just a bigger and somewhat better version of Arthur Abraham - he is a slugger and can be defeated. Rampage might even cover the ground better than Huck, because the ring is tiny compared to the cage. Besides, Page still remains an explosive/unpredictable guy with excellent chin, the sort of fighter that makes fights hard to call if brawling errupts. |

Well, let's see how he does against a few U.S/U.K club fighters first. Personally, I don't see him making the jump. He must know that at 33 he'll make more from MMA than boxing. Rampage can still headline UFC events as a top 205lber, so he'll probably milk it until he retires.
But if he wants to box, there is always that James Toney fight... |
