Joe Louis gave Marciano some fits with his boxing ability when he fought him and was shot to hell. No way in hell Marciano poses a problem to Ali or Fraiser.

Had they fought, I imagine it probably would've been quite similar to the Ali-Frazier trilogy- back and forth wars where each guy takes as good as they get. Rocky would've won at least one of the three IMO.

Can anyone tell me how a 5'11', 185 llb fighter, with a 67 inch reach is going to handle Ali who was 6'2'', 220 llbs with a 80 inch reach, who was mobile as hell, had a granite chin, and technically superior?

First you compare Louis, a relatively stationary plodder with excellent fundamentals, known for his punching power, technical prowess, and ability to put combinations together, to Ali, a mover, a great athlete, that didn't possess the fundamentals that Louis did. This is idiotic, but I would suspect this from a guy that wishes he would get fired from his own job because he hates his life so much. If you wanted a more accurate comparison, you should probably use Jersey Joe Walcott as an example considering he was an excellent mover. However, there are differences in the sense that Jersey Joe Walcott was probably the trickiest heavyweight of all time, one of the greatest counterpunchers, and had knockout power in both hands. Ali was faster, but he relied more on his athletic ability and handspeed in combination with his excellent toughness and mental fortitude to win his fights. Considering that Frazier beat Ali, there is a strong possibility that Marciano can do the same thing considering Ali is no a HUGE puncher, Marciano has an incredible workrate and punch output, plus his low to the ground style could prove troubling for relatively upright Ali. Not to mention, the body attack that Marciano puts in place in combination with his ability to perserver through punishment makes this a very competitive fight. You could even say it's 50/50. But you don't know shit about boxing, and should stick to spewing your Christian hating, poor hating, self hating nonsense in the lounge. |

This is any easy fight to pick. Every time Frazier throws a looping left he leaves himself vulnerable to Marciano's straight right and would clocked on the chin by the infamous Suzie-Q repeatedly. Both Marciano and Frazier were fairly slow starters who got tougher as the fight went on, but I see Frazier getting caught cold and never fully recovering. Marciano TKO5.
