Default Hatton looks to fight Malignaggi in return to 140.

Malignaggi doesn't have the power to hurt Hatton but has very good boxing skills and a good chin, went 12 rounds with Cotto. If Cotto didn't knock him out, I also don't see Hatton doing it. How do you think the fight is gonna play out?

I think it's a very risky move on Ricky's part...

He just got beat by a slick boxer and Paulie fits that mold. I expect Hatton to win but I have a very strong feeling he will look bad doing it.

I'd rather put him in with a Ricardo Torres.

I picked Paulie to beat him about 18 months ago and everyone laughed at me, so i wonder if this is still the same

I agree, it will be tougher for Hatton from now on since Mayweather showed what Hatton is most susceptible to. Opponents will be more confident now that Hatton has been defeated, he has to improve his defence.

I'd pick Malignaggi by UD.

I wonder if the elbow in the neck tactic will be uses against him from now on.

**** me drunk are u blokes kidding.........Malignaggi is a clown who barely beat NDOU. Hattons pressure like the zoo fight wld be too much.

Mayweather is 8 classes above Malignaggi so don't worry about Hatton's lose to the money man.......... this is provided Hatton is not affected physically or mentally by the defeat.

if pulie get the same ref as the ndou fight, he'd win. but if the ref let's hatton go inside that clinch, paulie would be in for a long night

UNLESS he's been badly damaged by the Mayweather fight, Hatton by decision. He busts up the clown and possibly stops him late at 140.

Listen to this ****:

"The more I see of Ricky, the more I think he's scared to get hit and that's why he fights the way he does," the American told boxingtalk.com.
"There were opportunities for him to throw punches and he chose to hold. It seems that the guy holds first and hits second. It gets ridiculous to watch.
"I'm sure Ricky's a nice guy and a nice person, but as a fighter I can't respect him."

With Hatton now likely to step back down to 140lbs, the stylish Malignaggi is desperate to set up a bout with the Briton.
"I would love to fight Ricky Hatton. I'm definitely ready for it whenever he wants to step up to the plate," he stated.
"Ricky keeps saying he wants to fight at the Garden and if he's going to fight at junior-welterweight, I'm the guy you have to fight at the Garden."

SCARED to get hit? Hahaha! Criticise his style, but you lose all credibility with that staggering lack of insight. The Clown is only a paper champion anyway, so it makes much more sense for him to come to the UK and try to beat the #1 at 140lbs.

Come on, this wouldn't even be close

Mayweather has the power to earn Hatton's respect, you must have that to beat Hatton

This guy couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. Hatton is going to be all over him like a rash, and just because he survived a weight drained version of Cotto, it doesn't mean he'd survive the Hitman at his natural weight

Hatton by late stoppage

Same again...and this time he won't be facing someone who's weight drained at 140.

I would back Hatton to knock paulie out. paulie is clearly a talented boxer but hes not the greatest fighter. presuming hatton is not mentally scarred after his defeat he would be too strong too agressive and id say 7th round stoppage

I don't know much about Malignaggi but I noticed that he has only stopped 5 of his opponents which is a very low percentage. Hatton ought to win this but much of it depends on how the Mayweather defeat affects him. If anything, much of the pressure should be off him now that he has suffered his first loss but who knows how it will affect him in the long term?
