I've never been shy in making the Polish glass comments, but I'll be honest this kid looks special. It might be a little premature to say this, but it wouldn't surprise if he is Poland's first genuine superstar boxer. The guy is slick as hell.

To be precise, Gmitruk was never Proksa's trainer. They've met a couple of times and Andrew gave Proksa some advices, but they were never really a team.

Oh really? I heard otherwise in the studio just before the fight and Gmitruk was there and didn't object. To be precise, the anchor sounded off all of Proksa's trainers, including Gmitruk. I suppose he could have been mistaken and Gmitruk didn't bother correcting the technicality. In truth, I've never seen the excellent Gmitruk in his corner so he could have just been training him in sparring for a brief period of time. On another subject, I really wish Gmitruk and Adamek got back together. They were the best fit and I doubted that medical story from the start. IMO Rozalski forced him out.

I think that Golota was kind of star. Michalczewski too. And in recent years Adamek.

However I undersantd your point. Proksa is so entertaining to watch and naturally skilled that he has much bigger TV potential.

If you like slick boxers, you should follow Artur Szpilka. He is a young HW, southpaw, very fast and has a good power. A lot of talent too, but still very young (22 yo) and green.
