Miguel genuinely believes marg cheated against him, I think he is mentally ready to leave it all in the ring come Dec 3rd.

Even if Marg wasnt bricked in their first bout , he wouldve won anyways. His size, iron chin, and pressure was too much for the fragile Cotto.

Im Picking cotto to win the 2nd bout because hes going to play it safe this time and just slowly point his way to a UD.

You kidding? Watch the fight again, you'll see alot of great movement from Cotto there. It's just that Margarito's constant pressure is too much for him.
BTW, Cotto has better head movement than Pacquiao IMO.

Cotto's punches wont hurt margarito that wont change, miguel is going to build up a nice lead but this time needs to avoid getting broken down.
I think he can do it if he plays it smart, I expect him to last the distance this time and get a close decision win.

I havent seen the first bout in quite some time but I don't recall Margo leaving the fight looking like roses. I remember his face and eyes swolleen and quite damaged. This was on Cotto's backfoot. I don't expect Cotto to push foward but if he can get some side to side movement while moving forward he may be able to generate more power.

If Cotto had a granite chin and excellent punch resistance then the whole plaster accusation stuff would make more sense. But Cotto has always shown to be quite fragile and vunerable.

Not a good mindset. Once he realized it's not the bricks( either it didn't happen or it didn't matter) he's doomed.

I dont realy care about that because we will NEVER realy know what the truth is on the subject.

We can rest assure that both fighters wraps will be legit in this fight.thats what i care about.

But if he beats Margarito and his face looks the same again, then we're still probably where we're at now. It won't do anything to prove Margarito's innocense. Because, as Pacquiao proved, Cotto's face can become disfigured like that without needing to load your gloves.
I agree with the bolded. But to answer the second paragraph, the swelling that Cotto's face goes through now could be a result of the damage he took versus Tony. Similar to how scare tissue cuts easier.

I think most people already believe this to be the case, the only ones who don't, wouldn't believe it if he literally hit the man with a lead pipe.

If Margarito was, indeed, using loaded wraps in that particular fight, wouldn't that have increased the overall effectiveness of his punches? Would the punches that damaged Cotto's nose or created cuts have been as significant? Would Margarito's body punches have been as effective? I doubt it.

Even if Cotto was unable to seriously hurt Margarito in that fight, I don't think it's a stretch to assume he could have won a decision, had it not been for damaged sustained stemming from possibly illegal handwraps.
