Default James Tony vs Benn 94'

If this fight had taken place Tony would have brutally beat Ben into submission and stopes him inside 7. He was better then Benn from range and alot better on inside game.

I want to see your view on this fight

Toney would have won for sure. But stopping Benn is no easy task

Toney wasn't stopped all the way from middleweight to heavyweight so Benn most certainly isn't stopping him. There's no way on God's green earth is Benn outboxing him,but Toney also lost to inferior fighters like Tiberi and Griffin,so you never know which version of Toney you're getting. But Benn was stopped by Mike Watson,Steve Collins and Chris Eubank,so after Toney weathers the storm(Sam Peter couldn't take Toney out,so no ****ing way is Benn going to),Toney outboxes him and probably stops him due to his less than stellar chin.Btw,Toney has one big ****ing mouth, but that transatlantic jaw fest he had with Benn and Eubank was hilarious as Benn just sat there like a ****ing mummy.

Toney fights this guy right up close, almost against his chest, and sweeps to a UD.
People look at the fat bastard of today, and forget that he used to be one of the greats.
He's still pretty skilled, but back in the mid 90's he was great.

116 - 112 for JT

Exactly!

Idk what the hell people are talking about "Toney 116-112 decision". LOL. There'd be NOTHING comeptitive about this fight.

When Toney was motivated, he was simply on a different level than Benn. And Toney would CERTAINLY be motivated to fight Benn.

Stylewise, Eubank is alot more competitve with Toney. But Toney still beats Eubank as well. Just a better technician than Eubank, with a more well rounded skill set, and a higher ring IQ.

A focused Toney's accuracy, counterpunching, infighting, defensive skills, and chin would've ensured a dominant victory. Toney was a cut above and exciting as Benn was, I think he was miles away from being great.
