Damn, I gave him the benefit of the doubt for the Lebedev fight, but he needs to retire now. That was one brutal knockout too many. I suppose if he handpicks guys he knows he can beat for some easy paydays it should be ok though.

Another Cruiserweight fight, his body looked soft in the Lebedev fight, for the first time ever. Does anyone think Roy has trouble making 175? Or does he just feel that the CW division is far more open in terms of capturing another title?
Could he even be after a 2nd fight with James Toney? |

It's hard to know what RJJ has to gain from this fight. If he just wants to knock over a few stiffs so he can finish on a winning streak then fine, but it won't do anything to enhance his reputation and fights like this won't take him anywhere.
To the previous poster, surely he can't be broke? |

Finally, he takes a reasonable fight. Roy deserves this one fight. Alexander has 2 kos, hes the perfect opponent for Roy to retire on a win. Yes, he should retire but this is not the worst move for him.

he isnt broke. he has many businesses and land. he says he will keep fighting til he doesnt have that love for boxing anymore. sadly it may cost him years of his life.
