A lot of people will put Hopkins higher now because he has been so dominant recently and Jones so bad. After some time I guess they will be rated very close to one another because Jones beat two ATG around their prime in Hopkins and Toney and he beat them convincingly . Hopkins won against borderline ATG in Oscar and Tito but they were coming up in weight and were heavily undersized even though Hopkins deserve respect for making 156 for the Oscar fight.

He's already way Higher

Hopkins has walked the walk against the best his entire career

Jones was a flash in the pan who was carefully matched to look spectacular during his VERY short prime

I can definitely see a case for Jones but pretending Hopkins was prime in 1993 isn't it.

Newsflash Jones had already done what Hopkins is doing now ..

Oh and he never did it against smaller men.. Oh and one other thing if Hopkins was really that much better than Jones why did he finally decide to give him a remacth long after jones' best days ? I mean he was busy winning right why fight a faded Jones ? Even Hopkins knows Roy was better than him !

I said around their primes. Obviously Hop was still not in his prime which is hard to define exactly haha
