We all know Lennox ducked Wlad, so we can't blame Wlad for that fight not happening. And before any Lennox nut-huggers start making excuses, let me say that Wlad's loss to Sanders is NOT an excuse for Lennox ducking him. Lennox got knocked out in 2 by McCall, and no one ever says that he was a crap fighter because of that one loss.

Do you really not understand the fact that the brothers share their opponents, and they never fight an opponent that the other beats? Do you understand why they do that? It's called money, and it looks bad if one brother is fighting the other brothers scraps. It's even to the point that the brothers won't rematch the guy who beats one of them, because they know that if the other fights the guy it'll be a much bigger draw.

Vitali wanted to fight Byrd, but Wlad arranged it so he could fight him. The thought was that it would generate much more money then a rematch in which everyone knew what the result would be, and Wlad would it.

Unless someone else, with EVEN 1 top 50 HW win, steps up between NOW and Dec 11, this fight is going to happen, and for what it's worth, Mormeck has only lost to heavy handed boxer punchers. He's a gritty warrior who fought his heart out at CW never earning more than 1 mil for a fight.

But: Klits are on FTA -> exposure to 100% of the populace -> high "brand awareness" -> shitload of ad contracts, tv spots, sponsors.

TV money accounts for a relativly small % of their earnings.
