Are you dense? He says, "Manny's running out of opponents - Manny vs. Amir would sell. Somebody asked me not to let them spar for that reason." Not only does he NOT say it's "Manny's people" who asked him, he gives you the exact reason why they aren't sparring and it has nothing to do with one "punishing" the other.

Rather stupid from Pacquiao people. Sparring or not sparring would be the same advantage/disadvantage for both. In fact the more experienced fighter could get more looks out of these sessions.

No problem though, Khan will find other quality sparring.

Khan has made it clear he will not fioght Pacquiao as he would not have roach in his corner, Mannys people gonna force the fight on khan or something? its pretty obvious they dont want Khan punishing there boy any more. Especially ion the Phillipines in front of all his own people

I told everyone...Pac cannot beat Amir Khan...Pac would have to be God to beat Amir Khan...Not cuz Khan is Good, but because Pac is NOT God...Pac CANNOT beat a guy that is taller, longer arms, and faster...Cuz he depends on his speed to overwhelm his opponents...and if u take away his speed advantage, he gets pummeled...but nahhhhwwwll...No one listens to Murka...everyone says Murka is crazy...Told thadass and ya just wouldnt listen!

That fight could happen soon, so Manny's people dont want Khan gaining an advantage by sparring with Manny in this training camp. Thats what I got from this interview.

That interview was done in March 2011. I think that Amir is sparring with Pac now in Pac's training camp.

That fight shouldn't happen. They're friends, who must see each other and train together regularly, and they have the same trainer...it would be way too awkward for them to fight. Sparring is one thing, but an actual fight is another. It's also just another distraction from the match we really want to see, Pac/Floyd.
