Boxrec 230 ranked son of a former champ vs boxrec's 231 ranked son of a former champ. Mc Call has one loss and fought slightly better competition and Foremans son is undefeated. Who wins and why?

Clearly Monk Foreman, by KO.
Elijah might have had slightly better opposition but he also got KO'd by the best opponent he faced, who isn't very good to begin with and had no KO wins prior to McCall. I can't see Foreman having much trouble with Aristilde 9-4, 2KO's (all for losses by KO inside 4 rounds), and we know he walks right through bad opponents with glass jaws. |

I love this fight. It could be very big for 2 guys at their novice type levels.
When they do those fight card contests at Boxrec with something like 7,000 points being available to build a card of fighters, up to 10 bouts, I like to add this match to round out my card as 1 of the cheaper point total fights. They should use their name recognition to meet up. I think McCall kills Monk though. I've heard about Monk being so terrible that they had to audition fighters before letting him face them early on to make sure they were terrible enough for Monk to beat. I don't know if they still do that, but them doing it to start shows how much name value Monk has, they were screening bar bums for a guy who couldn't fight very well to build his record. Elijah is a much less protected guy and even though he has been shown to not be in his dad's league, I think he is way out in front of Monk. Unless Foreman has really improved a lot since he started. I haven't heard anything about him in a minute or 2. |

There's one fighter that "stands out of the pack" and that's the guy who KO4'd McCall. Check this out... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] |

I guess you are right. Hard to get too much credit when you don't win. But Monk has not jumped off like that yet either. Elijah took a chance and didn't succeed, Monk still has to take 1. Elijah would be a very good 1 to take. It would be much better than Frieda vs Laila. That was a mismatch against the Foremans. This 1 is a lot closer. Edit....Shit, that never happened. LOL I swore it did.
