I heard artie levine knocked down robinson for a nine count in their near welter bout. Anybody got any information on this, and the nature of the knockdown? Was artie the hardest puncher that robinson ever faced?

Robinson said in an interview with Dick Enberg back in the 1970's that Levine hit him harder than anyone. He took a nine count and there was a great deal of controversy about whether the count was slow.
Levine, though, was a big middleweight. He ranked as the #8 lightheavyweight in 1948.
