Judah-Morales wouldn't be a bad fight. I'm sure there would be a good amount of heated exchanges and head snapping punches being landed. But as far as Zab getting to the top of any division ago...not happening.

Maidana vs Judah. Judah is hittable and has a flunky chin. Hes old now and has taken a few beatings. Maidana punches hard and is hittable as well. Add to that Judahs speed and Maidanas non stop agression and you should get a great fucken fight/ beat down(?).

Morales and McCloskey would be the only two mentioned here that I would give Zab a chance with at this point - they are both currently talked about in most discussions of the division, but not as being at the top and their time is surely limited there - Morales is faded and McCloskey is not as strong as too many of the other names out there. It is a good while since Judah looked genuinely good in the ring to the point where most fans would give him a genuine chance of beating a genuinely top guy. Zab would lose comprehensively to all the top guys, including some of those without belts, so I don't see him ever getting back to the top. Changing division wouldn't do him any good - it would just give him a slightly different list of top guys to lose to. I think he will make some more money, I think he will get matched in a couple more interesting fights - but I think that he will lose them. I guess he might beat Malignaggi... but so what?
I think that Zab was always overrated, and is now a faded version of the overrated Zab. A lot of people on here don't think that Khan is the complete package, but Judah was nowhere near beating him, not even competitive, no threat whatsoever. He's trading on his name recognition and old reputation, which was not founded on much in the first place. |

"Return" to the top of the light-welterweight division? When was he at the top?
Anyway, not going to happen. He could be in a couple of interesting fights but he's not going to be #1. |

Zab's finished man. That guy took some serious punishment in his career and will never be elite.he's basically some damaged goods. He's one of those people whose career was not managed well and basically did not maximise his returns. He has very good physical attributes but mentally he's just as thick as dishwashing liquid. What's worse is he also had one bad corner and it cost him.Zab had a chance to do well against people like Cotto but was just stupid.Who gets hit with such a high number of low blows?
